Cousins make the best friends

This picture speaks for itself...

I love Greenwood Elementary!

Red Ribbon Week was the best at Greenwood Elementary!  Our PTA kicked off red ribbon week at the beginning of the Halloween week, which was genius because the fun lasted all week long!  Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, and being an elementary school teacher makes it the absolute best.  I love seeing all the costumes and getting caught up in the thrill of the holiday.

Some of the festivities included wearing your favorite jersey to join the team against drugs, hats off for never doing drugs and Halloween day was say boo to drugs by wearing your costume to school.  It was so much fun!  Of course my favorite day was jersey day because it allowed me to dust off my favorite shirt in the whole wide world!  I love Ecuador and this awesome Ecuador soccer jersey!

Circus Time

Back in September, we went to the circus up in SLC.  It was really cool and both my boys loved seeing all the crazy daredevils.  Before the show began, we were able to get up close and personal with the different performers.

Camping Time

Before the cold weather set in, we decided to take a camping trip!  We went fall break and had a blast!

Zander's Baptism

Our (not so) little guy chose to be baptized!  We are so proud of him and know this will bless his life.  It's so fun to see him grow in the gospel and discover his own testimony.  He talks a lot about going on a mission and I already know that he'll be a great missionary when his time comes.  Crazy to think that he's now at the halfway point-only 9 more years to go.

We love you, Zander!  Congratulations on your baptism.
Our little family
My handsome men in white.  So grateful to have a son who chose to be baptized and a husband worthy to baptize him.

Our Caribbean Cruise-April 2014

With the emotional roller coaster that infertility has come with, we decided that it would be good for us to plan something fun and have something to look forward to.  For anyone who's ever dealt with infertility, you know how each month feels like a failure as you watch time march on.  What we needed was something tangible to anticipate as a means to push the troubles of infertility out of our minds.

So with that idea, we decided to plan an awesome cruise!  The date was set for the week of my spring break in April.  We had a blast and made incredible memories!

We left out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and enjoyed a night there staying in a hotel on the beach!  The following morning we were off!  Lance is amazing at finding sweet deals and knowing how to get the most for his buck.  He landed us on the biggest cruise ship in the world!  It was A M A Z I N G!  There were tons and tons of fun things to do and cool shows to see.  We loved it!

The ports we stopped at were Falmoth, Jamica; Lebade, Haiti; and Cozumel, Mexico.  We loved snorkeling, relaxing at the beach, meeting locals, trying different foods, seeing the ruins in Mexico, and being together.  Maybe infertility isn't that bad after all... :)
Beautiful clear ocean water and our amazing cruise ship behind us

Man, he's a hottie.
This was scary, but fun.

Formal night was a blast!
The ruins in Mexico.  We changed in our swim stuff after our tour and enjoyed that gorgeous water!
I love this guy.  I'm one lucky girl.

Halloween 2014

This Halloween we were a little sad since it's was Zander's moms turn to have him.  What's Halloween without our Zander Man??  Even though we missed him, we were happy that he got to go trick or treating with his siblings.

We lucked out though, because our ward Halloween party was on Thursday and we were able to pick him up right after school, take him to the party and then get him back to his other home before school on Friday!  What a whirl wind-but he had so much fun, and we loved being able to spend time with him!

This ward has been so good for Zander.  The primary is full of really good kids, and he has many friends.  It was wonderful to see him be able to spend a part of Halloween with them.

On Friday, I had an awesome time spending Halloween with my students and joining all the wonderful festivities at Greenwood Elementary, which is seriously the best school.  Lance's work had a Halloween costume contest and he won best costume!!  That's my hottie!

That evening we got to spend time with Sasha, Hudson and Baby Makenly.  We went to our trunk or treat with Sash and Hudson and they loved it!  After the trunk or treat we went to a Halloween party with our friends, Kelsey and Tyler.

What a fun Halloween!!
